![]() In some cases, the remote user interface is not displayed properly. After installing TeamViewer (Classic), unattended access is possible with the personal TeamViewer password of the remote device. TeamViewer (Classic) can usually be used on headless systems. If you're installing it without your login, then it's running on the free license, which is against the licensing agreement you signed when you bought it. It may also be sufficient to connect a dummy plug to your graphics card. I pay for 200 machines and every machine I install is tied to my license. When the unattended access install is done, you should be tying it to your account anyway or you're not using it as licensed. When looking at properties for TeamViewerservice.exe it is not an option. :-) I do not have that screen - or cant find it. Let us know if this has fixed your issue. I may have changed a Teamviewer setting that caused this behavior, but I dont know what it was. Now, restart your device and see if TeamViewer starts automatically with the system. The Teamviewer icon (horizontal arrows) has started showing up in the menu bar of various Windows applications running on my PC. I don't think the change is going to matter for a tech using it to support unattended access machines. If not, please set it on Automatic and press OK. Too many times the connection won't work for some reason even when it would for something else i had on the machine (TV, anydesk for testing, DWservice, etc). It's one of the main reasons I left Syncro (on NinjaOne myself - comes with their own tool which is great plug TV and Splashtop, but only ever install their tool or maybe TV). ![]() I'm not a fan of Splashtop, especially when supporting Macs. It's no good for quick support-type connections, but excellent for unattended access for free. The remote session runs directly in the web browser, and the install on the other end is super simple. If you want something stupid simple and free/open source, try DWService ( ).
